Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Crane Mechanic II to join our team at Seaboard Marine. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our harbor mobile cranes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile cranes, including diagnostics and repairs to hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Conduct routine checks on crane diesel engines and fuel systems.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot spreader hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Perform periodic inspections on crane booms.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
  • Two years' experience in maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of Liebherr or similar cargo cranes and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience as a full diesel mechanic, with a strong knowledge of crane operations, methods, and techniques.
  • Liebherr crane certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to all possible environmental factors, including extreme heat, rain, wind, and high humidity.
  • Occasional work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Exposure to dust, fumes, and airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Exposure to heights.
  • High noise level in the work environment.
