Job Title: Teacher Aide

Family Health Centers at NYU Langone is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher Aide to join our team. As a Teacher Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and development of our young patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Education Director to provide administrative support and assistance to the education team. This includes maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service to families and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the education team, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including NAEYC, DOH, DOE, and ACS policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to families and staff, including answering phone calls, greeting children and families, and responding to inquiries.
  • Assist with fee collection, fee ledger management, and petty cash handling.
  • Maintain accurate records, including children's enrollment forms, medical records, and attendance records.
  • Support the education team with tasks such as ordering office supplies, maintaining the waiting list, and updating children's enrollment forms.
  • Collaborate with the education team to ensure seamless delivery of education services.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma required.
  • Warm, caring, and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work well with others and create positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Previous experience in education or a related field preferred.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $16.00 - $16.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
