Job Title: Transportation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team at CDM Smith. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing large-scale transportation projects, including highways, tunnels, and mass transit systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop transportation projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement transportation solutions that meet client needs.
  • Conduct site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
  • Update design requirements as necessary and ensure that firm policies and practices are followed.
  • Inspect new construction and existing transportation structures as needed.
  • Contribute to the firm's technical knowledge management (TKM) by developing white papers and technical design documentation.
  • Submit technical papers and designs for publishing to technical journals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 0 years of experience.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
