Orthopaedic APP for Parham Doctors' Hospital

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Orthopaedic APP to join our well-established and cohesive group at Parham Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide first response to the ED for Orthopaedic consultations, including injuries and illnesses.
- Perform history and physical examinations, hospital rounding, floor consultations, admissions, and discharges.
- Assist in the operating room, order and interpret radiographic and laboratory data.
- Perform joint aspiration/injection, reduction of fractures/dislocations, and application of casts and splints.
- Develop treatment plans in accordance with Virginia state law and established treatment protocols with Orthopaedic surgeons.
- Strong interpersonal skills and basic computer competence are essential.
- Minimum of two years' experience in direct patient care as an Orthopaedic APP is required.
- Board certification and Virginia licensure or ability to obtain are necessary.
We are looking for an ideal candidate who enjoys autonomy while collaborating with Orthopaedic Surgeons, Hospitalists, Emergency Room physicians, APPs, and Nurses to provide world-class care to patients and their families.
