Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Paramedic to provide essential emergency medical services in a flight capacity across remote areas of Alaska. This role involves:

  • Serving 15 bush communities in western Alaska, ensuring timely medical transport within 20 to 45 minutes from Nome using fixed-wing aircraft.
  • Facilitating patient transfers to Anchorage for advanced medical care when necessary.
  • Utilizing small ATVs, snow machines, and other off-road vehicles for village transportation, often in challenging weather conditions.
  • Engaging in travel via small aircraft, including both fixed-wing and potentially rotorcraft.
Job Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Paramedic, with a strong focus on emergency airway management and trauma care.
  • Compliance with COVID and Flu vaccination requirements.
  • Possession of BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS certifications.
Additional Information

All candidates must provide documented proof of completed COVID vaccinations, including boosters, and are required to have received flu vaccinations. Exemptions will not be accepted.
