Job Title: Mill Welder

Samuel, Son & Co. is seeking a skilled Mill Welder to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. As a Mill Welder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our tube mills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain tube mills to produce high-quality tubular products.
  • Perform welding tasks to join tubes and ensure seamless connections.
  • Monitor and control the mill's material feed and splices to prevent defects.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with the mill team to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in welding and tube mill operations.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in welding preferred.
