Key Responsibilities:

ATI is currently seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with substantial experience in managing HVAC systems and related equipment. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Assessing system operations, safety mechanisms, and modifying the operational sequence as necessary.
  • Evaluating electrical components and connections, performing repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Ensuring optimal airflow and replacing dirty air filters.
  • Inspecting pumps, lubricating them, and verifying flow rates as appropriate.
  • Cleaning and lubricating motors as required.
  • Reviewing belts, making adjustments and alignments as necessary.
  • Inspecting, cleaning, and balancing blowers as needed.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the boiler system water conditioning system.
  • Cleaning vents and ductwork.
  • Conducting light electrical work as required.
  • Diagnosing issues and failures in HVAC and electrical systems to identify repair or replacement needs.
Candidate Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in HVAC and associated equipment.
  • HVAC mechanic and EPA Universal Refrigerant certifications.
  • A current SECRET clearance or a suitable background history to obtain such clearance promptly.
  • Experience in a government facility is advantageous but not mandatory.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Preference may be given to candidates who have one or more of the following skill sets:

  • Familiarity with maintenance and repair methods in technical areas such as electricity, carpentry, HVAC, and plumbing, along with proficiency in relevant trade tools, equipment, and materials.
  • General understanding of building construction and repair, with significant skills related to commercial plumbing fixtures, systems, and their delivery methods. Competence in diagnosing maintenance and repair issues beyond HVAC systems.
