Job Title

Special Events Coordinator

This is a dynamic role that requires creativity, enthusiasm, and a strong drive to make each event a memorable experience.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can oversee the planning, management, and execution of all agency special events.

The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative, verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well with staff and the public.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all agency special events from start to finish, including but not limited to the Spring Wine Mixer, Cruisin' for a Cause, Turkey Trot, Holiday Gift Wrap Booth, and other fundraising events as needed.
  • Maintain and reconcile fundraising financial records, including input of all donations to appropriate accounts, adding accounts as needed, clearing old accounts, generating fund reports, and maintaining events financial records with the assistance of the Director, Finance.
  • Work with vendors, venues, and volunteers to coordinate all aspects of special events.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year special events experience, or equivalent, with experience in PR/Fund Raising/volunteer environment preferred.
  • Must possess excellent administrative, verbal communication skills, organizational skills, computer skills, and the ability to work well with staff and the public.
