Broadcasting Executive

Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a highly skilled Broadcasting Executive to lead its production team. The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of the company.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with ROSS OVERDRIVE, including coding, and knowledge of production standards and equipment. A college degree is preferred, but not required. The successful applicant will be able to clearly give direction to crew members while under pressure and work well with producers and other staff in collaborating for a newscast.

Job Responsibilities:

• Direct and TD any assigned newscasts and productions, including Live Broadcasts
• Train production crew in cameras, audio, graphics, etc.
• Supervise production crew on a daily basis
• Maintain production studio and control room

Requirements:

• Experience Directing and TDing newscasts Live Broadcasts
• Knowledge of production standards and equipment
• Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
• Typing and good spelling skills necessary
• Ability to read and write
