Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a key member of our team at St. Vincent Home Medical Services, responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitoring the functions and characteristics of organs or tissues where drugs become localized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in a safe and efficient manner
  • Monitor the functions and characteristics of organs or tissues where drugs become localized
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • NMTCB and/or ARRT Registered
  • Associates Degree in a related field
  • One year of practical experience performing nuclear medicine procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions independently
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to stand and walk
  • Occasionally required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, and feel
  • Regularly required to talk or hear and see
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 100lbs
