We're seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist to join our team at The Kirklin Clinic of UAB Hospital. As a key member of our Cardiology Imaging department, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of advancing medical science.



Compensation: $43.00 per hour



Job Description

As a Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of simple and complex nuclear medicine procedures with minimal supervision. You'll also assist in the ordering and inventory of supplies, provide tutoring and supervision to subordinate technologists, and contribute to our supportive and inclusive culture.



Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a graduate degree from a formal educational program in Nuclear Medicine Technology accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). You'll also need to be currently registered as a Registered Technologist with Nuclear Medicine Technology Designation (R.T.(N)(ARRT)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). In addition, you'll need to be certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
