Job Overview

Service Champions Inc is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled HVAC Warranty Technician. This role demands a proficient technician with exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to identify, rectify, and document installation and service discrepancies, whether they are deemed 'at-fault' or 'no-fault' by Service Champions.

Key Duties:
  • Assess and diagnose issues within heating and air conditioning systems to determine necessary repairs or replacements to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Execute repairs on heating and cooling systems and associated equipment, including unit heaters, pumps, and safety controls.
  • Maintain and organize tools, supplies, and equipment to guarantee their readiness and safe operational condition.
  • Procure necessary repair parts and supplies to sustain inventory levels and ensure availability.
  • Document all service interactions, including work performed, recommendations, and warranty parts ordered.
  • Collaborate with the Dispatch Department to address warranty concerns from recent service calls, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Review warranty service calls regularly to enhance overall departmental quality and mitigate future warranty issues.
  • Engage with the Service Manager weekly to identify training opportunities based on recurring warranty call trends.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the HVAC Service Manager or Dispatch Department.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Residential HVAC Service/Installation.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on quality and results.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to support various business functions.
  • Successful completion of mandatory pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
