Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security and Safety Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting Tribal Assets, providing a safe and secure environment for guests and team members, and responding to emergency situations. Your expertise will be essential in upholding the highest standards of security and safety, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol casino floors to detect and prevent potential security threats
- Warn violators of rule infractions and apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Conduct preliminary investigations, prepare written reports, and network with local public safety agencies
- Handle medical calls, escort money transfers, and respond to emergency alarms
- Perform First Aid, CPR, and AED as needed, if trained
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- A valid Guard Card or proof of application and payment of fees
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, or AED (or obtain within 90 days of being hired)
- 1 to 2 years of related experience, with military service, security, and/or law enforcement experience preferred
Viejas Casino offers a competitive estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
