At Slade Fit Club, we are dedicated to supporting our members' aspirations to enhance their health through exercise and movement. We offer coed, in-studio, semi-private personal training sessions, as well as individualized personal training and functional strength training for older adults. With a maximum of 5 to 6 participants in each class, we ensure personalized attention, precise form correction, injury prevention, and tailored modifications for clients of all fitness levels.

Our trainers are encouraged to collaborate and learn from one another, as we believe that shared experiences can significantly enhance our members' journeys. Slade Fit Club also organizes community events and outings exclusively for our members, reinforcing our commitment to fostering a sense of community both inside and outside the studio. These events may include hiking, boating, rock climbing, happy hours, and more. We have created a dynamic and energetic work environment, providing our employees with various rewards for their hard work and dedication to the mission of Slade Fit Club. Our numerous 5-star reviews reflect our company values and the quality of our team, making it essential for us to find the right individual to complement our exceptional trainers.

The ideal candidate will be available to teach in the mornings three days a week and for a couple of hours on Saturday mornings once a month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to modify exercises and assist in one-on-one training sessions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency of the facility at all times.
  • Set up and dismantle daily workout equipment for subsequent sessions.
  • Provide hands-on motivation and encouragement to class participants, helping them achieve their fitness goals.
  • Acknowledge and celebrate members' results.
  • Ensure that first-time attendees are properly oriented and supported through effective coaching.
  • Manage the studio floor, ensuring timekeeping and smooth transitions between stations.
  • Be cross-trained in administrative tasks, including client check-in and member sales, to assist the team as needed.
  • Promote special events hosted by the studio.
  • Open the studio and assist with daily preparations.
  • Be willing to learn and adopt the Slade Fit Club training and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in teaching group fitness or personal training.
  • Availability to train on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7 am to 2 pm, with Saturday availability once a month from 9 am to 11 am.
  • CPR/AED certifications.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Benefits:

  • Salary position for 20 hours of work per week, with annual compensation ranging from $22,000 to $25,000.
