Job Summary:

The Auto Body Technician plays a pivotal role in our company's promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle assessments and quality repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the WOW plan consistently to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Plan and prepare cost estimates for customers, utilizing various tools to repair vehicle sections.
  • Repair dents, dimples, and minor body damage, and apply filler resins when necessary.
  • Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
  • Remove and replace damaged vehicle sections with new or aftermarket parts.
  • Repair or replace glass and windshields as needed.
  • Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
  • Weld and attach parts, and prepare vehicles for repainting with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
  • Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
  • Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with other repairers in an auto body shop.
  • Thorough understanding of methods and procedures for repairing vehicle bodies.
  • Thorough understanding of tool usage required for the trade.
