IT Manager

Nabsys is a pioneering company in the field of high-definition electronic genome mapping. Our mission is to provide accurate, cost-effective analysis of genomic structural variation, ultimately improving patient outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT services, establishing best practices, and maintaining our on-premises high-performance computing environment.

• Infrastructure Management
  • Manage, maintain, and expand our on-premises IT architecture, including infrastructure servers, high-performance computer servers, and NAS.
  • Establish and enforce domain policies, firewall configurations, and backup plans.
• Cloud Environment Management
  • Manage, maintain, and expand our cloud environment, including AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Secure S3 storage used by Nabsys Early Access customers.
• IT Support and Services
  • Provide comprehensive IT services, including support for Nabsys internal users.
  • Address support issues and implement changes to achieve compliance.
• Employee Management
  • Formalize and execute IT onboarding and off-boarding procedures.
  • Manage employee computer hardware and software, including ordering and setup.
• Software Management
  • Administer cloud-based applications and maintain inventory of software licenses and licensed users.
  • Manage volume licenses and order new software.
• Financial Management
  • Produce budgets and optimize cost efficiency.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT management.
• Experience designing and maintaining a high-performance compute environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work well under deadline pressures and with multiple priorities.
