Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume delegated accountability for operations, scheduling, and staffing for a specified period.
  • Provide expert nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the Medical ICU and Medical PCU.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Lead and facilitate day-to-day operational issues, including budget management and volume-adjusted staffing.
  • Participate in patient care as needed and actively lead staff in implementing changes and new initiatives.
Requirements
  • Current Michigan Nursing License
  • Graduation from accredited nursing program: BSN Required
  • Minimum of three years staff experience
  • One-year related practice experience in clinical area
