Information Systems Security Manager

ManTech is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Information Systems Security Manager, Process Research IV to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement, oversee, and maintain the security configuration, practices, and procedures for research systems.
- Conduct research, analyze processes, and develop strategies to enhance the security posture and protect information systems.
- Provide liaison support between the system owner and other IS security personnel.
- Ensure that selected security controls are implemented and operating as intended during all phases of the IS lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain system security documentation and conduct required IS vulnerability scans.
- Monitor security controls for Information Systems to maintain security Authorized to Operate (ATO) and develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) in response to identified security vulnerabilities.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or other IT discipline.
- 7 years of position-specific relevant experience.
- DoD 8570 IAM level 2 certification.
- Familiarity with the use and operation of security tools including Tenable Nessus and/or Security Center, IBM Guardium, HP Weblnspect, Network Mapper (NMAP), and/or similar applications.
- Master's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity or other IT discipline. Relevant industry standard certifications.
- Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and/or maintain a polygraph.
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
