About the Role

Methodist Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our Emergency Services Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
  • Conduct data analysis and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and track progress.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement projects.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and sentinel event investigations to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain quality improvement metrics and benchmarks to measure progress and success.
  • Provide education and training to staff on quality improvement processes and patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or related healthcare degree.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
  • Preferred experience in quality management, regulatory compliance, or TQM/CQI.
  • CPHQ certification preferred.
