Job Summary

Tempo Service is seeking a skilled Tradesman Plumber to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and pressure testing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, Install, and Repair Pipes and Fixtures: Assemble, install, or repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide professional customer satisfaction by ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Test and Inspect Systems: Test pipes to determine whether systems are working accurately and inspect jobs upon completion to ensure areas are clean.
  • Interpret Blueprints and Plans: Interpret and apply mechanical and structural blueprints to plan plumbing repairs and modifications.
  • Determine Sources of Malfunctions: Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment according to safety procedures.
  • Respond to Emergency Calls: Respond to emergency calls as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years experience working under a Master Plumber.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Texas State Journeyman or Tradesman License - current and in good standing.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to diagnose and resolve problems, ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade, and ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
  • Physical Qualifications: Ability to stand, walk, and to climb ladders and attic stairs and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
