What You'll Do:
  • Site Assessment: Evaluate the optimal location for generator installation, considering factors like space, ventilation, noise, and proximity to electrical panels.
  • Generator Assembly & Installation: Assemble and install generators, connect fuel and electrical lines, and ensure all installations meet safety and building code standards.
  • Electrical Wiring & Connections: Safely connect generators to the building’s electrical system, ensuring proper synchronization and adherence to safety standards.
  • Fuel System Setup: Work alongside plumbers to configure and connect propane or natural gas fuel systems, ensuring all installations meet proper guidelines.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Perform detailed tests to ensure the generator operates correctly, including load testing, voltage and frequency checks, and verification of the automatic transfer switch (ATS) functionality during power outages.

  • Technical Proficiency: Read and follow blueprints or technical drawings with precision.
  • Code Compliance: Conduct installations in strict accordance with local municipal codes.
  • Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license are required.
  • Independence & Responsibility: You should be able to work independently and take ownership of your projects.
