We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Technician to join our team at Bay Vista Commons, a premier provider of nursing, home care, and housing services for adults and seniors. As a Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Organize and pass medications, including insulin as prescribed to residents
- Observe and notify Nurse of any negative drug effects or interactions
- Accept responsibility for accurate medication counts and for security of the medication cart
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility, as needed
- Engage with residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care and medication assistance
- Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, medication side effects, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences and report promptly to Director of Nursing
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant License, Nursing Assistant Registered or Home Care Aide Certification
- High School Diploma/GED
