Inova Health System is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented CT Technologist to administer sound patient care practices, ensuring patient safety and efficient departmental operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IVs, heparin locks, and central line usage as they pertain to computed tomography.

Responsibilities
  • Administer computed tomography procedures to patients, ensuring accurate identification and tracking of patients according to department procedures.
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives, in-services, and meetings to maintain high-quality patient care and departmental operations.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure patient and staff safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
  • Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Must obtain CT Certification within one year of acceptance of the offer.
  • Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment.
