Job Description

Mesa Glen Care Center is a leading provider of healthcare services, including skilled nursing, assisted living, and senior living communities. We are committed to delivering exceptional care and services to our residents, and we are seeking a highly qualified Director of Nursing to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise and manage a team of nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality care to our residents.
  • Coordinate care and services, improving the organization and implementation of plans of care, and enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of prospective residents, including home visits or hospital assessments, to ensure that they are suitable for our care center.
  • Lead quality assessment and assurance activities, including regulatory compliance rounds, to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement staffing plans that meet the direct care needs of our residents, ensuring sufficient staffing to maintain compliance with facility mission and federal and state requirements.
  • Provide 24-hour availability as a nursing administration resource, either directly or through a designated alternative staff member.
  • Audit clinical records to ensure accuracy and completeness of comprehensive resident assessments, effective documentation, and consistent implementation of plans of care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary conferences to develop adequate plans of care and ensure that all staff and professionals are aligned with our care center's mission and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Minimum of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, with a California RN or BSN license.
