Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide interpreting services for students in a school setting. The interpreter will facilitate communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and their peers, teachers, and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and other school-related activities.
  • Ensure effective communication between students, teachers, and staff.
  • Adapt to various interpreting settings and educational levels.
  • Collaborate with the educational team to support student learning.

Qualifications:

  • National or state certification in Sign Language Interpretation is preferred.
  • Experience working with students in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Ability to work effectively in a school environment.
