Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our mortgage branch and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for meeting sales goals, operating a financially sound branch, and promoting the reputation of American Pacific Mortgage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Oversee the branch, including people, resources, and support.
    • Develop professional working relationships with team members, emphasizing respect, transparency, and scrappy values.
  • Pipeline Management
    • Responsible for pipeline management and on-time closings of the branch.
    • Partner with compliance, processing, and operation teams to achieve timely actions and set reasonable expectations.
  • Financial Performance
    • Operate a financially sound branch, positively influencing production and profitability.
    • Manage branch budgets and strategic initiatives, leveraging resources to maximize success.
  • Recruiting and Retention
    • Constantly recruit and retain sales and support staff to ensure branch success.
  • Training and Development
    • Build a high-performing team through regular branch meetings, training, and coaching.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of four years' experience in mortgage loan originations, with an active NMLS license.
  • Effective sales and marketing skills, including ability to generate new business through networking and referral partners.
  • Strong understanding of loan guidelines and federal/state regulations.
  • Commitment to company values, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Customer Service – ability to provide and maintain effective and positive communication.
  • Adaptability – ability to quickly learn new techniques, products, and computer programs.
  • Problem Solving – ability to effectively analyze and resolve problems at a functional level.
