Role Responsibilities

As an Event Coordination Intern, you will play a vital role in organizing our fundraising and community engagement initiatives. This is an opportunity to channel your creativity and dedication while making a tangible difference in Larimer County.

Key Duties Include:
  1. Event Planning Assistance: Collaborate with the Events Manager to create and execute event plans, manage logistics, and coordinate with vendors and participants. Responsibilities may include handling event supplies, which could involve lifting items up to 40 lbs.
  2. Administrative Support: Provide essential administrative help, including drafting event communications, maintaining databases, and preparing necessary materials.
  3. On-Site Event Support: Aid in the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring smooth operations and positive experiences for all participants.
  4. Community Engagement: Participate in outreach efforts to promote events, engage with attendees, and build relationships with community partners.
  5. Marketing Collaboration: Work alongside the marketing team to develop promotional content, including materials for social media and other communications to enhance event visibility.
  6. Post-Event Analysis: Assist in evaluating events by gathering participant feedback, assessing success metrics, and identifying areas for future improvement.
Qualifications
  1. Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field.
  2. Prior internship or related experience is advantageous.
  3. A genuine interest in the non-profit sector and alignment with our mission and values, particularly regarding equity.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve common objectives.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and research tools.
  6. Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
