AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Supervisor to join our team in Cheyenne, WY. This role will execute procurement contracting strategies for large, complex data center construction projects and/or purchasing opportunities to ensure optimal cost and sufficient continuity of supply and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks and roadblocks to contract execution and compliance, driving action internally and/or externally to resolve and/or escalate as necessary.
- Commercial Expertise: Serve as the first line of defense and communication with site EPC stakeholders on commercial matters, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Project Closeout: Execute project closeout requirements, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to complete the project successfully.
- Change Order Management: Monitor and mitigate the impact of change orders to the project, partnering cross-functionally to resolve and escalate as necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Address quality-related issues as they arise and report to the quality team, ensuring all quality standards are met.
- Collaboration: Partner with the Labor Planning team on Field Service Representative constraints during construction completion, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Vendor Management: Monitor activity by vendors for timely completion of construction, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Contract Execution: Assume all post-award contract execution responsibilities with general contractors, OFCI vendors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Risk Identification: Identify potential risks and issues related to the project/contract and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Reporting: Provide weekly status reports, issues, risks, and mitigations to the general contractor sponsor regularly.
- Contract Performance: Prepare regular reports on contract performance, issues, and resolutions, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
- Contractual Compliance: Ensure contractual compliance with regard to all environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) regulations, including safety root cause analysis.
