Job Overview

As a Cabinet Assembly Specialist at Burrows Cabinets, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that high-quality cabinets are assembled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the sequence of orders and prepare products for assembly.
  • Maintain adequate supplies in your area to avoid delays in the assembly line.
  • Utilize jigs and templates to install drawer guides and rails accurately.
  • Employ jigs and templates for the installation of finished doors and handle hardware.
  • Use jigs and templates to install drawers and their corresponding handle hardware.
  • Adapt to various roles as needed based on production requirements.
  • Safely wrap completed cabinets for storage or delivery.
  • Identify and address quality issues in your work and the assembly process.
  • Report any safety concerns to the Group Lead promptly.
  • Update the build schedule in Salesforce by marking completed orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area throughout your shift.
Essential Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, including chop saws, pneumatic nail guns, staple guns, cordless drills, and screwdrivers.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and company documentation.
  • Proficient in using a tape measure.
  • Capable of meeting production demands consistently.
  • Skilled in identifying common quality defects in materials.
  • Willingness to perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Ability to follow directions and be receptive to coaching.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines at all times.
  • Availability to work overtime when necessary.
