About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Project Engineering team at Colonial Pipeline Company. As a Senior Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and expertise in the development and execution of complex projects and programs.

You will serve as the technical lead on project core teams, overseeing the work of outside engineering firms and internal technical specialists to ensure project designs meet Colonial's standards and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical oversight and guidance to project teams
  • Developing and implementing project plans and schedules
  • Ensuring compliance with Colonial's standards and specifications
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure technical designs and solutions are coordinated and effective

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum) from an accredited college or university
  • 10+ years of engineering experience, with 7+ years in oil/gas or related industry and 5+ years working on projects in oil/gas or related industry
  • Certified Engineer in Training
  • Advanced knowledge of oil and gas related codes and standards (API, CFR Part 195, etc.)
  • Intermediate knowledge of general industry codes and standards (ANSI, IEEE, ASME, NFPA, NEMA, NESC, PSM, etc.)
