Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Accounting Instructor to join our team at Foothill De Anza Community College District. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Accounting courses and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Accounting courses to students with varying skill levels and backgrounds.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and success.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to student-centered teaching and learning.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in an indoor office environment with regular access to technology and resources. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, as well as lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
