Overview:

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a key scientific authority in the field of Neurology, particularly focusing on Parkinson's Disease. This role involves acting as the primary scientific liaison with healthcare professionals within the designated territory, merging clinical knowledge with strategic business insights.

Core Responsibilities:

Implement impactful territory strategies:

  • Formulate and sustain territory action plans, including prioritization and segmentation
  • Engage with healthcare professionals and clinical investigators
  • Leverage data analytics to optimize engagement opportunities
  • Produce significant data point observations (DPOs)

Act as a scientific consultant to external partners:

  • Provide education on the disease landscape, therapeutic options, and product information

Maintain proficiency in the therapeutic domain:

  • Stay informed on market dynamics and product developments
  • Support research initiatives as directed by Research and Development

Collaborate with cross-functional teams:

  • Coordinate with commercial divisions, clinical research associates, and other relevant departments

Qualifications:

  • Preferred advanced degree (doctorate level preferred) in health sciences
  • Ideal qualifications include: PhD, PharmD, DNP, NP, PA, MD
  • Minimum of 2 years in clinical/scientific/research roles, with at least 1 year as an MSL
  • Experience as an MSL in Neurology, particularly with Parkinson's Disease, is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to fulfill healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
