Job Title: CMM Quality Assurance Technician

Ascentec Engineering LLC is seeking a highly skilled CMM Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. We are looking for an individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance.

Job Summary:

The CMM Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining our Zeiss CMM equipment, ensuring the highest level of precision and accuracy in our CNC machined parts. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of metrology principles and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain Zeiss CMM equipment to ensure precision and accuracy in CNC machined parts
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance or metrology role
  • Strong understanding of metrology principles and CMM operation
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
