Clinical Informatics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Informatics Coordinator at Del Sol Medical Center. This position is responsible for ensuring ongoing training, support, and refinement of the Advanced Clinicals and Meaningful Use initiative, as well as providing support for clinical applications throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Implementation and support of division-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to CPOE and other clinical applications and tools.
- Development, execution, and support of education plans, tools, and resources focused on the CPOE clinical initiative, Meaningful Use, and additional clinical applications as developed and implemented.
- Facilitation and project leadership of the CPOE and advanced clinical system functions implementation.
- Resolution of complex issues and requests escalated from the division Service Desk or other division or facility service resources.
- Evidence-Based Order set review, approval, and build within the facility.
- Ongoing monitoring of various advanced clinicals usage trend reports. Identify gaps/areas of opportunity and develop action plans to address areas of concern.
- 3-7 years of experience in a clinical or informatics role.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Registered Nurse license in Texas; Compact License acceptable with Texas license obtained within 90 days of hire.
