Key Responsibilities- Preoperative Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients prior to surgical interventions to ascertain their health requirements and formulate effective care strategies.
- Operating Room Preparation: Ensure the operating room is adequately equipped and maintained, adhering to sterile protocols and managing surgical instruments and supplies.
- Intraoperative Care: Deliver direct nursing care during surgical procedures, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing any urgent situations that may occur.
- Postoperative Monitoring: Provide comprehensive care to patients following surgery, including vital signs monitoring, pain management, and vigilance for potential complications.
- Collaboration: Work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and current medical records, documenting all patient care activities meticulously.
