Omitron, Inc. is in search of a dedicated Audiovisual (AV) Systems Engineer to join our team, focusing on advanced audiovisual solutions. The selected candidate will oversee proprietary AV and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage configuration and documentation processes while implementing and maintaining proprietary audiovisual systems and secure distributed KVM networks.
- Oversee operations floor data walls and conference room VTC systems; collaborate with the VTC Team for system deployments, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs.
- Conduct ancillary maintenance tasks as required.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance required, with consent to CI Poly.
- Completion of vendor-specific training (Thinklogical SMP Tier 2 Administrator) upon hiring.
- Certifications: IAT II Certification (CompTIA Sec+ preferred, Net+ etc.), or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree in Information Technology or related systems engineering field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in system engineering support.
- Strong communication skills to convey AV system capabilities and requirements to mission personnel.
- Ability to collaborate with a team of AV experts and coordinate with the communications directorate.
- Proficient in performing AV system maintenance, including health checks, appliance configurations, and audio troubleshooting.
- Experience with AV control systems and network management, including Cisco and Thinklogical configurations.
- Basic cabling experience (Copper and Fiber) is advantageous.
- Demonstrated initiative to continuously learn and enhance skills in proprietary AV systems.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
