Job Title: Medical Assistant - Mobile Care Unit

ProMedica is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Mobile Care Unit team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team in a mobile clinic setting.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will assist the care team in routine and specialized patient care tasks, maintain supplies, and support the practice by utilizing their clinical knowledge and expertise in a clerical capacity. This includes performing basic patient care preparation, preliminary patient observations, and documentation to facilitate the flow of patients in the clinic setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the care team in routine and specialized patient care tasks
  • Maintain supplies, including inventory, ordering, and restocking
  • Support the practice by utilizing clinical knowledge and expertise in a clerical capacity
  • Perform basic patient care preparation, preliminary patient observations, and documentation
  • Communicate and document patient and office information accurately and completely
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent clinical experience
  • Must have MA certificate or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • CPR required
  • 1-2 years of MA experience, highly preferred
  • Computer skills and communication skills
  • Ability to keep patient information confidential as required by HIPAA and other research-related requirements
