Procurement Manager

Solventum is a leading company in the healthcare industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a key position that will be responsible for providing strategic procurement support to our organization, serving as a global category manager of Chemical and Polymer materials. The successful candidate will drive sourcing policies and best practices, helping the sourcing organization meet its cost savings, cash, and contracting goals by leading negotiations and managing complex supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global sourcing solutions that achieve measurable business results.
  • Lead multiple project teams to implement sourcing solutions, establishing close working relationships with business unit management and suppliers on sourcing strategies and activities.
  • Research and understand the short and long-term market outlook for assigned materials and feedstocks.
  • Perform complex contract negotiations, proactively communicating project direction and status with key business unit and strategic sourcing management.
  • Recommend and influence management decisions in the area of sourcing solutions, negotiating to resolve issues, implement strategies, and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher and (7) seven minimum of years of combined procurement, logistics, supply chain, sales, engineering, and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and a (14) fourteen minimum of years of combined procurement, logistics, supply chain, sales, engineering, and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills; ability to root-cause problems and quickly articulate creative, practical solutions.
  • Proven track record as a self-starter, collaborative, and team player.

Work Location: Hybrid-United States

Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
