Job Overview

Faupel Automotive Group, a leading automotive dealership group with multiple locations in Kentucky, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless communication between customers and the service department.

About the Role

  • Greet customers promptly and provide assistance as needed, utilizing your excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport.
  • Listen attentively to customers' concerns and document vehicle issues accurately, ensuring that all necessary information is recorded for future reference.
  • Based on vehicle inspections and customer interactions, recommend maintenance and repair services that meet their needs and budget.
  • Prepare detailed estimates of costs and fees, ensuring transparency and clarity throughout the process.
  • Coordinate and schedule service appointments efficiently, working closely with the service technicians to ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate updates to customers regarding the status of their vehicles, maintaining open lines of communication throughout the process.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a service advisor or in a similar customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of automotive products and services.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and automotive software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with ongoing training and development opportunities available.
