VIP Staffing is in search of dedicated Packers to join a dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will possess basic mathematical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
Qualifications for the Packer Role- High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within manufacturing.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver a 500 lbs. drum dolly.
- Willingness to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Consistent 40-hour workweek.
- Competitive pay at $15.40 per hour.
- Access to a fully equipped on-site gym.
- Operate both semi-automatic and fully automatic packaging machinery, ensuring products are properly packaged for storage or shipment.
- Monitor machinery to guarantee that filled or packaged products meet quality standards and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Address machine malfunctions by stopping or resetting equipment, clearing jams, and reporting issues to the Packaging Lead or Supervisor.
- Accurately complete necessary documentation in accordance with SOPs.
- Meet production quotas and performance goals.
- Conduct quality control checks by following SOPs and inspecting products or processes for quality assurance.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
