About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Varsity Brands. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Install, test, and calibrate equipment and machinery to ensure proper function and safety.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely and effective maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve maintenance-related issues and improve overall facility operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, including PLCs and HVAC controls.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
