About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our Supply Chain team at Staples, Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of office supplies to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Safely transport products to customers on assigned routes, utilizing a 16ft or longer straight truck.
  • Product Loading and Unloading: Load and unload products from the truck, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Technology and Equipment: Utilize GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) devices to track and manage deliveries.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving history, acceptable to the company.
  • DOT Physical and Drug Screen: Pass a DOT physical and drug screen, with no THC.
  • Basic English Language Skills: Possess basic English language skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 70lbs, push and pull items weighing up to 400lbs, and occasionally maneuver up to 130lbs.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Truck Driving Experience: Minimum 1-year of truck driving experience, operating a 16ft or longer straight truck.
  • High Volume Package Delivery Experience: Experience in high volume package delivery.

  • Competitive Pay: $20.00/hour - $22.25/hour, based on experience.
  • Performance Pay: Earn an extra dollar an hour with our performance pay.
