The Section Chief will be expected to excel in the following areas:
- Leadership: Provide direction and vision for the genetics team.
- Growth: Foster the development and expansion of the program.
- Quality, Safety & Clinical Innovation: Ensure high standards of care and innovative practices.
- Development of People: Mentor and support team members in their professional growth.
- Patient Service and Perception of Care: Enhance patient experiences and outcomes.
- Finance: Oversee budgetary considerations and resource allocation.
- Academic and Faculty Affairs: Engage in educational and research initiatives.
This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide care for pediatric and adult patients with complex genetic disorders and inherited conditions. The ideal candidate will prioritize quality and safety in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
