We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at HCSC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory testing, ensuring the highest quality of laboratory results, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing, including blood product testing and assessment
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of testing, following established policies and procedures
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including inventory management
- Prepare specimens for testing and label blood products
- Issue products for transfusion and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Great attention to detail and computer proficiency
- Ability to multi-task, work in a team environment, and independently
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology
- Minimum one year laboratory experience preferred
