About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Nature and Arts Core Counselor. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and delivering nature-based educational programs that foster a deeper appreciation for the outdoors and promote environmental stewardship.

You will work closely with our team of experienced educators to design and implement engaging activities that combine art, music, drama, and outdoor education. Your expertise in creative arts and outdoor living skills will enable you to create a unique and inclusive experience for our campers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver nature-based educational programs that promote environmental awareness and stewardship
  • Create engaging activities that combine art, music, drama, and outdoor education
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement age-appropriate activities that cater to diverse needs and abilities
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment that promotes learning and growth
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in planning and leading creative arts and outdoor living skills activities
  • Wilderness First Responder or Wilderness First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • 18 years of age required to maintain compliance with regulatory entities
  • Current Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid Certification from a nationally recognized provider (preferred)
  • Prior experience working with youth (preferred)
