Are you a skilled Physician Assistant looking for a challenging role in an urgent care center? We are seeking a motivated and experienced PA to join our team at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, plus benefits.
Job Description
As a Physician Assistant in our Urgent Care Center, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in need of rapid treatment. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening illnesses. Your duties will include performing physical exams, ordering laboratory tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of two years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant in an urgent care center or emergency department. You must also possess certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and hold a valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine in one of the 50 states in the U.S., the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Additionally, you will need to be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other healthcare professionals.
