Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Family Practice team at Florida Medical Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team, including preparing patients for examination and procedures, entering data into Electronic Health Records, and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and providing basic care.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of Medical Assisting experience, preferably in a Family Practice or Internal Medicine setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
