We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our team at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Tech will provide quality patient care and perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under the direction of a Board Certified Radiologist. The role involves patient interaction, education, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with Radiation Safety Procedures and ALARA principles.
  • Transport patients and equipment as needed, administer oxygen when necessary, and assist with various medical procedures.
  • Maintain records, assist with orientation, and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in using radiographic equipment, monitoring image quality, and maintaining equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree of Applied Science in Radiology required.
  • Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) General Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) required within 12 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association necessary.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of radiology experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
