We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Burn Med Surg Float Pool team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care plans in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on treatment plans.
- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exams, and arranging testing and admissions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient and departmental outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
- At least two years of full-time equivalent acute care RN experience in the designated area, or less than two years of experience with approval by the Chief Nursing Officer.
