Job Summary

AEM Components is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding their orders and product knowledge requests.
  • Work closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items and ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Assist Field Application Engineers (FAE) and outside sales teams with quotes and other sales support, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high customer satisfaction and maintain a positive reputation for AEM Components.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, providing insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team and the company.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or communications.
  • 1-3 years of professional customer service, sales, or telemarketing experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and support.
